As temperatures start to move into summer degrees, the Roundhouse is ready to meet its designation as an official cooling centre for citizens. The Vancouver Park Board takes its cue from Environment Canada for when cooling centres open. When this happens, the Roundhouse will offer a dedicated space in the facility, the Games Room, for people and pets who need respite from excessive heat. It’s very important to stay hydrated during hot weather – there are two bottle-filling water fountains in our building that you can use.
