Beginner 8-count Swing Dance/Lindy Hop

Learn to dance in a fun and supportive atmosphere, with two enthusiastic and experienced teachers! Swing dancing is a joyful and playful dance, enjoyed by generations of dancers since its inception as Lindy Hop, created by African-Americans in Harlem in the big band era. Join us and the vibrant community of dancers, as we learn the basic 8-count steps, including promenades and circles as we begin our journey to swing out! This class will emphasize the skills required for leading and following, allowing you to connect with your partner to enjoy this social dance. No dance experience is required, and you do not need to sign up with a partner.No prior dance experience or partner is required. Drop-ins only permitted with instructors? approval.
