Lindy Hop: Dancing Beyond the Basics

The granddaddy of all swing dances, Lindy Hop is a joyous and playful African-American dance created in the streets and ballrooms of Harlem, and danced to jazz music from the late 20?s hot jazz to the early 40?s big bands.A class for experienced beginner dancers, building off of the material taught in Lindy Hop 1 and 2. Dancers that are familiar with six and eight count basic moves and the principles of leading and following are welcome to join us. Our class emphasizes learning in a safe, friendly and supportive environment. You do not need to sign up with a partner. Age: 19+
