This course is designed for those who are new to pottery on the wheel or who have taken some pottery classes in the past. In this course, Mitra will cover the essential skills for wheel throwing, including wedging, centering, pulling, trimming, glazing, and studio etiquette. By the end of this course, you'll have a solid foundation in the techniques necessary to create well-made pieces of pottery. Clay and toolkits are not included in fees and can be purchased on the first day of classes. Included in the program fee is a $60 materials fee, which covers clay, slips, glazes, and firing. Please note that the $60 materials fee is non-refundable once the first class has begun.
