StoryTelling in the Body

In this workshop we explore our individual experiences, increasing confidence to tell a unique story. Each week will have a different theme and the structure of several traditional folk and fairy tales will be used to inspire humour, resilience, and health. Workshop time includes a mix of games, exercises, solo, pair, and group work. Participants practice being both teller and listener, resulting in enhanced memory and public speaking skills. The only material required is a journal and pen. Please note the class runs everyother Wednesday July 14, 28/Aug 11, 25. This is an opportunity to celebrate our diverse cultural heritage and our strengths as a community. No previous performance experience necessary. Please note, we will be OUTDOORS (in case of rain, we’ve got you covered)!!
